Coastal Miami-Dade County is currently under a Tropical Storm Warning as Hurricane Isaias has shifted slightly to the west. This shift has moved the Hurricane Watch in effect further south from Hallandale Beach north to the Boca Raton County line. Interests along the southeast coast of the United States should continue to monitor the progress of Isaias as the movement may change. Additional watches or warnings may be required later tonight and Saturday.
A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours. Impacts from winds, heavy rainfall and storm surge are all possible with this storm so you should plan accordingly.
Miami Shores Village will contintue to monitor the progress of this storm and provide updates when they become available.
Please stay diligent and keep abreast of information on #Isaias as it continues on it's west/northwest track toward the Florida peninsula. Visit hurricanes.gov for more information from the National Hurricane Center.
