National Bike To School Day Tomorrow!

Be extra careful tomorrow morning, May 8, on your commute - remember it's #NationalBikeToSchoolDay and watch out for kiddos on their bikes!

May 8th is National Bike to School Day. This is such an exciting and fun day for kids in #MSV, but drivers on the road need to keep in mind a few things:
* Drivers share the road with bicyclists who have the same rights, including riding in the traffic lane. Be especially cautious around kids on bikes as new riders can be unsteady and unpredictable.
* Give at least three feet of clearance when passing a bicyclist.
* Check your mirrors before you turn or open your door.
Never honk your horn at a bicyclist as that can startle the cyclist who might then swerve off the road or into traffic.
