Village Board Appointments


The Village Council will be making its annual board appointments on October 17, 2017.  The deadline to apply was October 10, 2017.

If you submitted an application, the Village Clerk will remind you when the Council is scheduled to name appointees and if possible, it is suggested that you attend the Village Council Meeting to introduce yourself. The Council will receive a copy of this application prior to the meeting.

Appointment to any of the Boards/Committees is voluntary service and you will not be compensated for serving. If appointed, compliance with all laws and ordinances of the Village, County and State of Florida, particularly those pertaining to the public records law, conduct of public office, and the financial disclosure requirements, if applicable to the appointment, is required.

 

 

DOCTORS CHARTER SCHOOL BOARD

(1 Vacancy)

*No residency requirement 

 

 

CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD

(2 Vacancies)

Meets 1st Thursday at 6:00 PM at Village Hall

 

 

COUNTRY CLUB ADVISORY BOARD

(4 Vacancies) 

Meets last Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Country Club

*Must be a member of the Country Club

 

 

FINE ARTS COMMISSION

(4 Vacancies)

Meets 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Recreation Center

 

 

 

 

GENERAL EMPLOYEES PENSION BOARD

(3 Vacancies) 

 

 

HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD

(3 Vacancies)

Meets on-call as necessary 

 

 

 

PERSONNEL APPEALS BOARD

(3 Vacancies) 

Meets on call as necessary.

 

 

 

PLANNING & ZONING BOARD

(3 Vacancies)

Meets 4th Thursday at 7:00 PM at Village Hall

 

 

RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
