Still Lives Hummel

"It’s a thrilling mystery that will leave you wondering which characters you can and can’t trust... There’s a twist at the end that still keeps us up at night, it's THAT good." —Reese Witherspoon

Join author Maria Hummel for a lively discussion and book signing of her new thriller, Still Lives. This free event will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 11:00 am. Refreshments will be served.

My Uncle Gloria

My Uncle Gloria is the title of local author, Steve Shulman's, memoir.

It is a sordid tale that graphically depicts how his Uncle Butch transformed into his "Aunt" Gloria at age 66, and how this eventually brought his neurotic and unhinged family back together.

This free event will be on Thursday, November 29th a 6:30 pm. Brockway Memorial Library: 10021 NE 2nd Avenue; 305-758-8107. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
