Do you have children’s books that you would like to donate?

Brockway Library is now participating in the Children’s Trust Learn to Read Books for Free Program!

Read to Learn Books for Free is an early childhood literacy initiative in partnership with Miami Book Fair at Miami Dade College and the Children’s Trust. Read to Learn encourages children and parents to read together by placing 40 bookshelves full of free books for children of all ages (with a target age range of 0 – 8 years) throughout under-served communities of Miami-Dade County, specifically in ETO areas. Every year, we distribute over 150,000 new and gently-used books (approximately 3,000 books per week) for children in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole in order to keep every bookshelf replenished.

The Library is accepting donations of children’s, young adult and teen books. Please call Ms. Kelly if you would like to learn more! 305-758-8107

Thank you!
