We appreciate your interest in serving Miami Shores Village and encourage you to apply when your board of interest has a vacancy. The Village Council appoints boardmembers to the Library Board and the Doctors Charter School Board in the month of June. The remaining board appointments are made in the month of October, with the exception of filling vacant seats due to boardmember resignation.

Appointment to any of the Boards/Committees is voluntary service and, as such, you will not be compensated for serving.  Compliance with all laws and ordinances of the Village, County and State of Florida, particularly those pertaining to the public records law, conduct of public office and the financial disclosure requirements is required, if applicable to the appointment.
