 CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD VACANCY

 

The Village Clerk's office is currently accepting applications to fill two vacancies on the Code Enforcement Board.  Each appointed boardmember will serve one of the following terms:

 

One - 1 year term expiring October 2019            One – 3 year term expiring October 2021

Pursuant to 162.05, F.S., the membership of the Code Enforcement Board shall, whenever possible, include an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a subcontractor, and a realtor. Please note at least one year of residency in the Village is a minimum qualification for appointment. However, a 4/5 vote of the Council may override the stipulated residency requirement.

 

 Appointment to any of the Boards/Committees is voluntary service and, as such, you will not be compensated for serving.  Compliance with all laws and ordinances of the Village, County and State of Florida, particularly those pertaining to the public records law, conduct of public office and the financial disclosure requirements is required, if applicable to the appointment.
