Discussion turned to the upcoming spring concert as details were finalized.   One confirmed food vendor for the concert is Lucio. Anam is an unconfirmed vendor. Primal Fit also expressed interest in having a smoothie bar at the concert.

At this time Commission members commented on Unity Day and the fireside concert. It was noted that Fine Arts made $30 from the sale of the Wynwood coloring books at Unity Day.  A suggestion was made to move the stage at the fireside concert to take advantage of the lighting.  A suggestion was also made to change the theme of the concert into a 'full moon' concert. It was noted that the grant cycle is beginning for the Miami Shores Community Alliance. A suggestion was made to ask for a grant for a third concert. Ms. Rojas suggested having an April concert instead of an April art exhibit.  Ms. Ackley said she would like to ask the MSCA for a grant for up lighting for the art in public places mural.  Ms. Ackley also said she would like to ask for an additional $1500 to be added to next year's budget for an additional concert. It was suggested taking the money for up lighting out of the donation account.  Ms. Dorney will contact an electrician for a quote on up lighting.  Ms. Rojas suggested having an additional location for art in public places. One suggestion for a site is on the west end of Constitution Park.

Mr. Stock informed the Commission that the music series at the library is going well.

Ms. Rojas requested that the Commission reimburse Ms. Ackley for the mural banner that was purchased for Unity Day.

Discussion turned to the October library exhibit. Alberto Calvalieri is the suggested artist for the exhibit. There were no objections from Commission members.
