Mr. Bruce made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 14, 2017 meeting. Motion seconded by Mr. Baker and unanimously approved.

Mr. Bruce felt after reading the plays that they were more educational than artistic. Ms. Rojas said it was premature to discuss the plays before the Commission sees the performance.

Discussion turned to the January Moonlight Concert. Ms. Rojas said both of the concerts on the athletic fields will be moved behind the Field House and that instead of food trucks local vendors will be contacted to provide food/sweets. Ms. Rojas has contacted Annam, Poke Bowl, Crepe Maker, Lucio’s and two sweet vendors for January. Mr. Bruce suggested that the Commission provide coffee and do some advertising for the Commission.

Ms. Dorney said Ms. Mijares conveyed that she does not feel she will continue with the graphic work for the Commmison. Ms. Dorney suggested forming a subcommittee of at least two people for the Commission’s future ads. Ms. Rojas volunteered to take over as the graphic designer for future ads and she volunteered to change the present ad for upcoming poster distribution. Mr. Bruce made a motion that a subcommittee with Susan Ackley and Miryam Rojas be formed for graphic advertisement. Motion seconded by Mr. Baker and unanimously approved. Ms. Dorney said any discussion cannot be sent through email but needs to be done through a subcommittee meeting which needs to be publicly posted.

Discussion turned to the mural wall on the back of the Community Center. It was noted that a mural wall is not permitted per Village ordinance. Mr. Bruce said the Commission
