Bargain Blitz, Indoor Rummage Sale

Saturday, September 28

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Bargain Blitz is a great way for households to dispose of unwanted items without the hassle of having a garage sale at your residence. The Community Center is air conditioned and we place an ad in the Miami Herald Garage Sale section. Miami Shores residents may purchase a space beginning September 9 for $12.00. Non-Residents may purchase a space beginning September 16 for $15.00.

Spaces consist of approximately 10' of space and two tables. Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.

Halloween Howl

N.E. 2nd Avenue from 97 Street to 100 Street

Wristband areas will be open at 4:30 pm

Wristbands will be available for rides, bounce houses and special activities. Residents may pick up FREE wristbands, prior to the day of the event from the Community Center or at wristband areas at the event. Non-Residents may purchase a wristband for $5.00.

The Halloween Howl will feature a Costume Contest (residents only), Games, Candy, Food and Stage Entertainment.

Holiday Carolling Hayride & Light Up the Village

Luminaries

Purchase  your luminary bags from the Community Center and light up your front lawn.

Hayrides carollers will visit your home between 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

12 bags plus votives for $7.00

Call (305) 758-8103 or stop by the Community Center by December 17 to sign-up for Hayride Carolling. Sign-up early because space is limited.

Bring a flashlight. Music Books will be provided. Fun for the whole family.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Wednesday, December 4, 6:30 pm at the Recreation Fields.

Come meet Santa Claus at the Mayor's Community Task Force. Canned food donations will be accepted. Refreshments will be provided.
