The Planning and Zoning Department develops and implements strategic plans aimed at maintaining and expanding the Village's economic
base. To that end, the Planning and Zoning Department collects and analyzes demographic, economic and other data for use in planning economic, annexation, and
other development strategies and recommendations. A primary responsibility also includes the promotion of redevelopment through various marketing strategies
such as special events and presentations as well as the review of planning and zoning ordinances. This office also implements the Village strategic plan.
