          1. 2015 – 2025 Comprehensive Plan.

         

          1. Council request: Board to review issue and consider amending codes to permit 24-hour gas stations / convenience stores.

         

          1. Council request: Board to review issue and consider amending zoning code and comprehensive plan if necessary to implement design standards in the downtown.

         

          1. Establish 2nd Thursday of every month, until completed, as a board workshop to work through our list of topics, potential comprehensive plan and code of ordinance amendments.

             

            a) Planning board review and recommendation required:

             

            (i) Staff request: Consider amending, Sec. 516 (5) Utility sheds to remove required 15 ft. setback between residence and utility sheds of 120 sq. ft. or less.

             

            (ii) Council request: Consider amending, Appendix A, zoning to include new or modified zoning district(s) and zoning map amendment to replace the Miami-Dade zoning designations of RU1 and RU2 for the annexed land in the north-west corner of the village. Change county comprehensive plan designation of Multi-Use Residential / Institutional to village designation.

             

            (iii) Council request: Consider amending, Appendix A, zoning to include new or modified zoning district(s) and zoning map amendment to replace the Miami-Dade zoning designations of RU1, RU2 and BU3 for the Barry University annexed land in the north-west corner of the village. Change county comprehensive plan designation of Multi-Use Residential / Institutional to village designation.

            (i) Council request: Valet parking. Chapter 14 Local Business Tax and Business Regulations.

             

            (a) Sec. 521.64 Alternative parking generation standards: this section allows for alternative parking standards and methods for compliance that would include but does not mention valet parking. Amendment may or may not be required.

             

            (ii) Council request: Resident only parking, Chapter 20 Streets, Sidewalks and other Public Places
