New Community Center Meeting Presentation

On January 13, 2016, the Miami Shores Village Recreation Department in conjunction with Ken Ballard of Ballard*King & Associates held a public meeting to discuss and gather input from residents regarding the Community Center Feasibility Study and the proposed new Community Center.

 The Village continues to explore the possibility of building a new Community Center. Please note: the construction costs contained in the the presentation are NOT the final numbers for the construction of the new center.  These numbers are high estimates and staff will continue to work with the consultant to analyze the construction details to provide a better cost estimate.

General Public Terrorist Awareness Guide

As a partner agency with the Miami-Dade Police Department Homeland Security Bureau, Miami Shores Village has made available a brochure to Help Prevent and Detect Terrorism through the Terrorist Awareness Guide for the General Public.

Community Center Survey results (2)

At the November 17th, 2015 Village Council Workshop, the Council discussed the feasibility study by Ballard*King & Associates for the proposed new Community Center.  The Village continues to explore the possibility of building a new center.
