On behalf of the Village Council and Administration, I would like to welcome you to the Miami Shores website.  This site is designed to assist you and answer some of the most frequently asked questions concerning the various governmental functions and responsibilities of our Village.

If you are a resident, you are already aware of the many amenities that the "Village Beautiful" has to offer.  If you are just visiting our website and are not familiar with us, Miami Shores is a small, residential community located in Northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida.  Incorporated in 1932, the Village has maintained its "hometown" atmosphere, while nestled in the larger metropolitan
Miami area.  The Village offers the best of urban environments - it's close to all of the South Florida entertainment venues, international airports and seaports, as well as fine shopping and dining - yet the Village's quiet streets and avenues offer tranquility and a quality of life unsurpassed in the surrounding areas.

We are happy to have this opportunity to help you and should you need further information, don't hesitate to contact us the old fashioned way - by telephone.

Mayor Al Davis
