Board Meetings

Doctors Charter School of Miami Shores is a municipal charter school serving students from grades 6 through 12. Since its opening in August, 2005, the School has earned the highest marks and consistently earning an “A” rating from the State.

The School is governed by a 13 member Board of Trustees made up of members appointed by the various entities involved in the school’s conception. Seven directors are appointed by the Miami Shores Village Council, and two directors each from Barry University and North Dade Medical Foundation. The remaining seats are filled by one parent each from the middle school student population and the high school student population.
