be cited and towed away at the owners' expense.
Where can I store my recreational vehicles?
Property owners may keep one recreational vehicle, either a camper or trailer on their property. This camper (or trailer) must be
stored in the side yard, set back from the front wall of the residence, or in the rear yard. If the vehicle is stored in the rear yard, it must be at least ten feet from the rear property line and may not
encroach onto the side yard setback. The maximum length of the vehicle is twenty feet. The maximum height is ten feet. Boats must not exceed twenty feet in length, 96" in width, and 13'6" in height.
What about the exterior of my house?
Village codes require that your house be painted and be kept free of mildew, chipping and peeling.

driveways or on corners must be kept trim to allow drivers to view approaching traffic. A maximum height of 36" is allowed for any plants, wood fences, walls or other landscape features next to driveways and
on corners.

must not exceed the 36" requirement if in a safe distance triangle.
Pools must have fences at least 4 feet in height and must have self-closing, locking gates. Pool fences must be located entirely on
the property where the pool is located. Neighbor's fences do not qualify.
Air conditioning equipment must be in the rear of the yard.
Accessory buildings such as sheds may not be closer to 5 feet of the property boundary within RU (residential unit) zones.
What kind of signs can I place in front of my house?
All signs are prohibited in the rights-of-way, on utility poles, fences and trees. Real estate signs in single family zones are
limited to 120 square inches in size and must be located at least 10' from the property line.
